This just happened!

Hi! I was ironing out GUM or CANDY that was washed & dried in the dryer and I began to think about how helpful my friends on Facebook are...so IF this helps anyone out in the blog world here is what JUST happened today!

My son loves athletic shorts and this came out of my dryer!!

EEK! He must have left candy/gum in his shorts pocket!!

So...as any Mom I felt like shaming myself into confessing my sin of not thoroughly checking EVERY pocket and post the above photo to my my Instagram/Twitter/Facebook accounts asking for help!

Many wonderful ideas popped out of the Internet:

"Ice Cubes" "WD-40" "Blow Torch" "Rubbing Alcohol" "Goo Gone" and then my friend Darla said to try a brown paper bag and an iron on LOW setting.

I opted to try this idea!

Here goes:

Brown Paper bag...CHECK!

Regular iron on LOW setting NO STEAM...check!

Ironing on top of shorts NOT touching iron directly to shorts material

OH MY GOODNESS IT IS WORKING!! 

After about 10 -  12 pieces of paper bag I noticed the gum/candy was disappearing! AMAZING! :)

Now my son's shorts are SAVED! 

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and now I have started my 1st ever blogger blog! Hope that this will help others on the Internet! :)
